History Happy Hour: Tennessee Holocaust Commission

Join us Thursday, October 22nd for our last History Happy Hour of 2026! We're welcoming the Tennessee Holocaust Commission for their "Wings of Hope" program. In 1941, the Knoxville News Sentinel reported on Oswiecim concentration camp—months before the U.S. entered World War II. What did Americans know? What did Tennesseans know—and how did they respond? Explore these questions, hear stories of Tennessee Holocaust survivors, and learn how we can preserve their memories through the Wings of Hope initiative. *There will be a special Youth History Happy Hour at 4PM inside the Oak Hill Schoolhouse. This program is open to all ages, but may be best suited for middle and high school students.
