Ladies and Gentlemen, The Center for American Studies and the Center for European Studies (scientific society conducting primarily scientific activity in an independent and continuous manner) are honored to invite you to take part in the 7th International Conference on "International Law, Foreign Affairs & World Politics". ➡️𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍? The conference will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2027, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM CET (Warsaw/Berlin/Rome/Prague time) online on the Microsoft Teams platform. The length of the conference depends on the exact number of speakers. In the event of a higher number of speakers, we reserve the right to extend the conference also to Sunday, January 24, 2027. ➡️𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 The goal of the conference is to explore the breadth and depth of topics across areas such as international law, foreign affairs, diplomacy, security studies, international economics, and world politics. Please feel free to choose the topic of your presentation in line with your passion and expertise. Topics may be of both contemporary and historical relevance, and touch upon all problems regardless of their geographical boundaries. Panels of the conference will be arranged accordingly. The thematic areas indicated above are only exemplary – we strongly encourage you to go beyond them. In addition, the speeches may be interdisciplinary in nature, combining a variety of scientific fields. Note: speeches do not have to be comparative in nature – speakers may address issues related to only *one* of the selected areas. ➡️𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 We accept presentations in the following languages: 🇺🇲English 🇵🇱Polish Panels (sessions) of the conference will be arranged accordingly. ➡️𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑? • Students, Ph.D. students, experienced researchers, and all others interested in the above-indicated fields of research can actively participate in the conference as speakers. • Passive participants (audience) do not need to possess any prior academic knowledge or background. ➡️𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐄 • Prof. Christopher Kelley, LL.M. (President of the Center for American Studies) – Secretary of the Conference Committee. ➡️𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 – 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 ➤ ACTIVE PARTICIPATION (INFORMATION FOR CONFERENCE SPEAKERS) Steps necessary to register for the conference as an active participant (conference speaker): 1️⃣Submit an abstract (200-300 words) and register via the Speaker Application Form at: https://forms.gle/NVFdAUKpM9VwRxNP9 2️⃣Register via the Speaker Application Form by 23.59 on January 13, 2027 (we will not extend this deadline). 🔒We reserve the right to select abstracts. 📣The results of the abstract selection process will be announced by January 14, 2027. 3️⃣Pay the conference fee to the bank account number that will be provided to the qualified speakers via email. The fee must be paid by January 16, 2027 at the latest. ➤ PASSIVE PARTICIPATION (CONFERENCE AUDIENCE) Steps necessary to register for the conference by a passive participant (audience): 1️⃣Register via the Audience Registration Form at: https://forms.gle/k2qDxkgG2AEMSkxm9 2️⃣Register using the Audience Registration Form by midnight on January 18, 2027 (we will not extend this deadline). Failure to register using the form will result in the inability to passively participate in the conference (and thus the inability to receive a conference audience certificate). 3️⃣Pay the fee to the bank account number that will be provided to the audience via email. The fee must be paid by January 20, 2027, at the latest. Audience will have a chance to see the conference schedule with a full list of speakers and their presentation titles before paying the fee (it will be delivered via email). ➡️𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐒 ➤ SPEAKERS – 2 options: • 239 PLN / 65 EUR – participation as a speaker + PDF electronic certificate sent via email (the electronic certificate bears the digital signatures of the members of the Conference Committee and the qualified Szafir electronic signature – the legal equivalent of a handwritten signature – of the President of the Board). – OR – • 269 PLN / 75 EUR – participation as a speaker + digital certificate + traditional certificate with a handwritten signature sent via post. ➤ AUDIENCE – 2 options: • 139 PLN / 40 EUR – audience participation + PDF electronic certificate sent via email (the electronic certificate bears the digital signatures of the members of the Conference Committee and the qualified Szafir electronic signature – the legal equivalent of a handwritten signature – of the President of the Board). – OR – • 169 PLN / 50 EUR – audience participation + digital PDF certificate + traditional certificate with a handwritten signature sent via post. Important!
