The conference will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2027, from 16:30 PM to 9:00 PM CET (Warsaw/Berlin/Rome/Prague time) online on the Microsoft Teams platform. The length of the conference depends on the exact number of speakers. In the event of a higher number of speakers, we reserve the right to extend the conference also to Saturday, October 23, 2027. ➡️🔍 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 The conference is aimed at scientists, doctoral students, students, and enthusiasts interested in animal-related topics. The aim of the event is to exchange knowledge about the place and role of animals in both the natural world and the human world – law, psychology, economics, society, technology, pedagogy, culture (film, games, fairy tales, TV series, songs), media, literature, and art. The conference is a multifaceted platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between representatives of engineering and technical sciences, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, medical sciences, mathematical sciences, and arts. ➡️📚 𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒 → Animal biotechnology and genetics → Chemical signals and pheromones in animal communication → Physics of motion and biomechanics of organisms → Nanotechnology and its applications in animal research → Animal protection law → Forensics and analysis of biological evidence of animal origin → Veterinary medicine and animal diagnostics → Ecotoxicology and the impact of chemical pollutants on organisms → Sustainable development and environmental policy toward animal protection → Animals in culture, art, and literature → Animal ethology and behaviorism → Animal rights and ethics → Animals in therapy, education, and developmental support → Interspecies communication → Animals in scientific research and bioethics → Neurobiology and physiology of animals → Protection of biodiversity and the natural environment → Philosophical and psychological perspectives on animals → The role of animals in society → Symbolism of animals in myths, religions, and traditions → The history of domestication and contemporary human–animal relationships → Animals in media, pop culture, and visual communication → The impact of human activity on animal welfare → Interdisciplinary research methods on the animal world → Posthumanism and new paradigms in animal studies The above thematic areas are merely examples – we warmly encourage participants to go beyond these frameworks. Furthermore, presentations may be interdisciplinary, combining various fields of science. We do not censor presentations for political or ideological reasons. Original and unconventional contributions are always appreciated by the Scientific Committee. Presentations are accepted in both Polish and English. Presentations may be based on original or secondary research (literature reviews), as well as take the form of case studies. The fee must be paid by October 14, 2027 at the latest. ➤ PASSIVE PARTICIPATION (CONFERENCE AUDIENCE) Steps necessary to register for the conference by a passive participant (audience): 1️⃣ Register via the Audience Registration Form at: https://forms.gle/R5XnsSYvmsHgDWSx8 2️⃣ Register using the Audience Registration Form by midnight on October 14, 2027 (we will not extend this deadline). Failure to register using the form will result in the inability to passively participate in the conference (and thus the inability to receive a conference audience certificate). 3️⃣ Pay the fee to the bank account number that will be provided to the audience via email.
